The present article describes the material properties of CA Pro (Scheu Dental, Iserlohn, Germany), a novel aligner foil, and demonstrates its performance in the orthodontic treatment of patients. Various thermoplastics have been recommended as aligner materials, and the requirements for the material properties of thermoforming foils have proven to be diverse and dependent on indications.
